Charity Cycle Fundraising Event

Alan Blunden Insurance Brokers has agreed to participate in the Southend Hospitals Around the World in 80 days static cycle challenge, a fund raising event for their Keyhole Cancer Appeal. The aim is to help fund a state-of-the-art keyhole theatre and associated equipment, which will benefit many patients including those with conditions such as bowel and prostate cancer, as well as urology and gynaecological conditions.

To achieve this Southend Hospital require a large community team (of over 400 participants) to help cycle 24,901.55 miles in the 80 days. Each team will be expected to cycle 60 miles in their respective time slots. Participating companies will also be featured in any relating press releases and in their fundraising newsletter and website as well as raising money for a good cause.

The event is taking place at the Royals Shopping Centre and we will be attending on the 11th & 12th February. Why not pop down and support us!
